SARAH DAVIS - STAINED GLASS ARTIST

I am a stained glass artist, based in a village in Gloucestershire, UK, on the edge of the Cotswolds and close to the River Severn. Following several years of training at Bristol School of Art, I have continued to develop my glass art expertise, with a particular interest in glass painting. My glass art is based on my own original designs and I enjoy following the process from idea to completed piece.  Most of my stained glass work is inspired by nature, often taking colours, structures and patterns from landscape, plants and animals. I work with traditional methods including leading and copper foiling. to create decorative glass hangings and installed panels for windows and doors. I often work on special commissions for clients.

My stained glass is exhibited and sold throughout the English West Country, including Bristol and the Cotswolds. Some of my smaller pieces are available from my online shop and via various retailers. I am a member of the Contemporary Glass Society and The Gallery at the Guild at Chipping Campden.

Please browse the website to find out more about my work in glass, which uses colour, surface finishes and design to make the most of this wonderful material.. Glass looks best in its natural setting - flooded with light and viewed from several feet away. Photos can only hint at the delights of glass art, so please do get in touch via the Contact page if you would like more information about my work.
